May Tradeshows: A Review!

The Bio-Optronics sales team had a busy tradeshow schedule during the month of May, and we thought we’d take a look back at the month and give our thoughts! Bio-Optronics went to a variety of tradeshows for both Clinical Conductor CTMS and Momentum Scheduling to meet with potential customers, current users, and partners. From Seattle to Paris, our Bio-Optronics Sales Team has been hard at work promoting our software solutions to a variety of healthcare organizations!

Our first tradeshow of the month was the 2017 Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Katie and Michael from our Clinical Conductor sales team joined hundreds of research professionals from around the country to demonstrate the latest features and functionality of Clinical Conductor. Over the conference, Michael and Katie had a chance to talk to a variety of prospects, partners and customers about Clinical Conductor and their experiences with the application. Bio-Optronics also co-hosted a networking event with Complion, an e-regulatory document management solution. The Honky Tonk Hoedown took place at the 1927 Events, a historic venue in the heart of Seattle. Our sales team had a lot of fun learning how to square dance from Outlaw Swing, as well as enjoying the great food and conversation with other tradeshow attendees.

The first tradeshow of the year for the Momentum sales team was Hospital Medicine 2017, hosted by the Society of Hospital Medicine in Las Vegas, NV. Nick and Becky had fruitful discussions with the hospital medicine attendees, as well as getting a chance to speak with current customers about recent updates to the Momentum application. New features included improvements to hourly based scheduling, an expansion of time off rules and requests, and an increased flexibility in reporting. Our sales team is already looking forward to attending the show in 2018!

Our international tradeshow in May took place during Paris Healthcare Week HIT. Our European sales team had the ability to speak to a variety of prospects and contacts, and were eager to debut our hourly scheduling functionality for Momentum. This feature is wildly coveted in the European scheduling market, and potential customers were excited to view this new feature. By continuing our efforts in the European market, Momentum Scheduling and Bio-Optronics strives for global recognition and industry influence.

Wrapping up our May tradeshows, our Clinical Conductor sales team attended the MAGI East tradeshow; Bio-Optronics has been a sponsor of MAGI over the past few years. Sandy, Kyle, Max and Katie went to a variety of panels and discussions, as well as spending time in the exhibit hall talking to attendees about the amazing new features just added to Clinical Conductor. Katie and Sandy also had a great time participating in a costume contest, where they had to design a costume for a dog stuffed animal. Attendees voted for their favorites and the proceeds went to the Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia.

The Bio-Optronics sales team enjoyed all the tradeshows we attended in May! We always love having the chance to talk to existing customers, our valuable partners, and any potential prospects we encounter during a tradeshow!
